“Brain Processing Unit – The Future Where Biology and Computer Integrate” by Daito Manabe, Founder of Rhizomatiks, receives Honorary Mention at S+T+ARTS Prize

The collaborative project “Brain Processing Unit – The Future Where Biology and Computer Integrate”, led by Daito Manabe of Rhizomatiks in partnership with the IKEUCHI Lab at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, and the SoftBank Research Institute of Advanced Technology, has received an Honorary Mention at the S+T+ARTS PRIZE.

This project focuses on the human brain’s remarkable adaptability and learning capabilities, aiming to utilize brain organoids—cultured biological tissues derived from iPS cells—as a next-generation computing platform.
