A live performance where choreographer and director MIKIKO handled choreography and direction, while Rhizomatiks Research was responsible for interaction design, technology development, and video production. ‘Reframe’ means ‘to reshape’ or ‘to reconstruct.’ The theme is the ‘reconstruction’ of the performances created by Perfume. Various attempts were made using data related to Perfume, including ‘FUSION,’ which used the members’ giant shadows; ‘Wishes,’ which matched ‘important photos’ taken by fans with parts of the music video through data analysis; and ‘Infinite Future,’ which utilized drones and AR.

The scene was staged using technologies such as ‘Dynamic Projection,’ which projects images onto screens that move freely, and ‘Virtual Shadow,’ which blends real shadows with created shadows. Virtual shadows were achieved by combining photogrammetry, motion capture, and keying techniques.
▶︎Motion Capture : Infinite Future
A system was developed to control numerous lasers and project them to specified positions. The members’ hand movements were pre-tracked using motion capture technology, and this information was used to accurately capture the dance movements and project the lasers accordingly.
