Rhizomatiks and ELEVENPLAY’s new work challenges the creation of new expressions through the fusion of light generated by computation and dance. In an overwhelming space created by large-scale visual equipment, they offer a new experience of physical expression.
Rhizomatiks and ELEVENPLAY have been proposing various forms of works by embedding the dancers’ body structures and motions into the space using a geometric approach. Their works, which question human perception and physical sensation through the expansion of physical expression, have been presented across various fields, from media art festivals such as Sonar Music Festival (Barcelona) , Ars Electronica (Linz), Gray Area (San Francisco) and MUTEK (Montreal) to contemporary dance choreography centers like Tanzhaus (Düsseldorf), New York Live Arts (New York), and Théâtre de Liège (Liège).
