On February 10, 2025, at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST / AZUMAYA / duo MUSIC EXCHANGE, Daito Manabe, founder of Rhizomatiks, performed a DJ set alongside artist Yasuyuki Okamura at the J-WAVE (81.3FM) hosted Ryuichi Sakamoto tribute festival “RADIO SAKAMOTO Uday”. Manabe also handled the VJing himself, with the visual materials created by Rhizomatiks visual artist Kera.
The visuals were created inspired by the titles, concepts, and CD jackets of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s songs. Various techniques were explored, including 3DCG, generative AI, and live-action footage sampling.
