Rhizomatiks produced the key visual/concept video for the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival Award-Winning Works Exhibition.
The colorful lines of the key visual, which grows and changes, symbolize how various categories—Art, Entertainment, Animation, Manga, and the Festival Platform Award—mutually influence each other, refining their expressions and evolving with the times.
The algorithmically generated lines evolve to create a variety of patterns, reflecting changes in thought and communication styles influenced by the expansion and penetration of information technology and media. This showcases diverse expressions of “media arts” that go beyond existing methods and formats.
