The HEART (KABUTO ONE)

August 24, 2021

Rhizomatiks was responsible for producing the visual content for ‘The HEART,’ the world’s largest cube-shaped LED display, which takes the heart as its motif (measuring 6m wide, 5.5m tall, and 3m deep). This massive, iconic, four-sided rotating structure, divided into four sections, symbolizes the complex and dynamic movements of the market. As the heartbeat of Japan’s economy, it continuously broadcasts economic information domestically and internationally. Rather than merely conveying uniform economic data as before, this display transforms the movement of the economy—its pulses and waves—into a visual representation inspired by the heartbeat and blood circulation, allowing viewers to intuitively experience the current economic climate.

The information displayed includes the Nikkei Stock Average, TOPIX, individual stock information, news, trending topics, and infrastructure information (during disasters).
